I went to the park with my 1 year old and watched as the wind danced around his tiny, unsteady body. He was pushed and pulled as he tried to stand. I thought he would begin to get frustrated but instead he giggled. His giggle became infectious and we were both sitting in the grass, letting the cool air fill our lungs, and letting ourselves just be in the moment together. We giggled, snorted and played while the wind whipped our hair and kissed our cheeks. As I walked home from the park, I thought about how that was one of the greatest moments of my life and the idea was born. I wanted to create a space that would allow for more beautiful moments just like that one.
Blowing in the Wind is my place to be creative, connect with others, and share my life. I love storytelling through photography, using my hands to craft, and exploring this beautiful world.
